After going back to my Tai Chi class the other week after screwing my back up again, we spent a good part of the session silk reeling. It’s one of those things thats easy to do, impossible to master and it’s an excercise I find deeply satisfying.

Step out,
sink.
Pick a cloud
from the sky.
Breathe.
Take a hold,
not too high,
not too low.
Be still,
breathe.
Shift your weight,
turn to reel,
gather.
Still your mind.
Breathe.
Shift your weight,
turn to reel,
gather,
breathe.
Repeat.
Still your mind.
This is living.
